Shell — surface finish, no splits or thin spots
Sensory Toy Quality Control Checklist for Buyers
The checkpoints to define before production — so you approve the feel, not just the photo.
Thirteen checkpoints
Define these against an approved sample.
Seam — even bonding with no gaps
Closure — sealed and secure
Leakage — no fill escape under squeeze
Weight consistency — within tolerance per SKU
Color — matches approved sample
Odor — no strong or off smell
Recovery — returns at the expected rate
Texture — matches approved hand-feel
Repeated squeezing — holds up over cycles
Packaging — clean, correct and complete
Carton — counts and labeling correct
Random inspection — per AQL or agreed standard
The approved sample is the standard.
Every checkpoint is measured against it.
The most reliable QC starts with a signed-off physical sample. From there, shell, fill, closure and recovery are checked against that standard, with optional third-party pre-shipment inspection where required. See the quality approach for how we define these checkpoints.
