Ask these before committing to a sample, let alone production.
Do they confirm the shell, fill and closure construction in writing before quoting?
Can they provide physical samples for hand-feel, weight and recovery approval?
Do they state MOQ per SKU and explain how customization changes it?
Can they name the responsible importer requirements for your destination market?
Do they coordinate a pre-shipment inspection against an approved sample?
Are they clear about what they do versus what the factory does?
05 SAMPLING & COMPLIANCE
Sample first, then confirm compliance
Physical samples are the contract — approve the feel, not just the photo.
Approve a physical sample to confirm shell, fill, closure, weight and hand-feel before production. For compliance, testing scope depends on the selected SKU, the responsible importer, the age grade and the destination market — a reliable partner verifies available supplier documents and can arrange third-party inspection rather than issuing certificates it does not own.
